Dance Yourself Deep: Contact Improvisation in Water

The fluid world can teach us the art of ease, adaptation and receptivity in action. The dance of water is showing us how to soften to flow, to breathe in gesture and to surrender with grace.
In these workshops, you will be invited to dance yourself deep, to move your body and soul according to the present moment and to explore your living relationship to aquatic movement. 

Somatic explorations, contact improvisation and dance improvisations in the warm pool will be doorways to liven up your body and raise your sensory awareness.  Alone, in duets or in the group, you will nourish yourself through touch, movement and playful interactions. Guided water jam will invite you to melt together and to deeply reconnect to your essence in the silence of meditation.

Aquatic Bodywaves
Training, 5 days retreat

Aquatic Bodywaves is an aquatic bodywork training, based on a playful pedagogy, focused on body sensations and guided dance improvisation.
During an “Aquatic Bodywaves” session the giver invites the receiver into waves, spirals, massage and resting postures. The exploration often leads to deep relaxation and emotional release. The training includes focused exercises and a lot of improvised aquatic dances in solo, duet or group, where you explore qualities of movement or touch and learn communication and precise bodywork tools.

​WATSU®/ WATA®

Aquatic bodywork is a massage in warm water (in a pool or in the sea) that combines gentle graceful movements, stretching, acupressure, mobilization of the joints in connection with breathing, conducted both on the surface (WATSU®) and underwater (Waterdance®).
You can book a private session or an individual class with me during my time in Mazunte.
