Danse, massages et thérapie aquatique
Manuela Blanchard Russi (ursprünglich Soziologin/Ethnologin aus der französischen Schweiz) unterrichtet seit 8 Jahren Tanzimprovisation (Contact Improvisation, Neuer Tanz, Tanz im Wasser) in der Schweiz und im Ausland und bietet Körperarbeit im Wasser an. Mitglied von mehreren Improvisationsgruppen, praktiziert sie seit 20 Jahren verschiedene künstlerische Ausdrucksformen, darunter Tanz, Bewegungstheater, Theater und Clown. Theater- und Tanzperformances in der Schweiz, Deutschland, Israel, Spanien und Russland. Fortlaufende Weiterbildungen in Improvisation und Contact Improvisation bei verschiedenen LehrerInnen in der Schweiz und im Ausland, darunter Steve Paxton, Nancy Stark Smith, Kirstie Simson, Martin Keogh und Andrew Harwood. Manuela bietet auch Körperarbeit im Wasser und absolvierte von 2005-2010 eine Ausbildung im WATSU®, WasserTanzen® und Ausbildungsmodule im Healing Dance® (Körperarbeit im Wasser), nachdem sie sich bereits in ihrer Jugendzeit im Synchronschwimmen intensiv mit dem Element Wasser auseinandergesetzt hatte. Mit "Contact Improvisation im Wasser" hat sie in 2007 ihre eigene aquatische Bewegungssprache entwickelt. Manuela ist auch Esalen (kalifornische) Massage Praktikerin. Sie unterrichtet regelmässig in Contact Festivals (Israel Water & CI Festivals, Moskau, CMC Göttingen, Cadaquès, Grenoble, Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Kreta, Tokyo).
Manuela Blanchard Russi (au départ sociologue/ ethnologue originaire de Suisse romande) enseigne régulièrement la danse improvisée (new dance, contact improvisation, contact improvisation dans l’eau et dans la nature) depuis huit ans, en Suisse alémanique, romande et depuis quelques années à l'étranger, notamment dans des festivals de contact improvisation (Moscou, Israël, Grenoble, Göttingen, Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Crète, Tokyo). Elle pratique intensivement diverses formes d’expression artistique (danse, théâtre de mouvement, théâtre, clown) depuis plus de 20 ans et se produit dans des performances de théâtre et de danse en Suisse, en Allemagne, en Israël et en Russie. Sa découverte de la danse improvisée a touché un noyau très profond en elle et l'a conduite à la rencontre de nombreux professeurs internationaux, notamment S. Paxton, N. Stark Smith, K. Simson, M. Keogh, A. Harwood…). Manuela a suivi une formation en travail corporel aquatique (diplômée en WATSU® et WaterDance®, 3 modules de Healing Dance®) et donne des séances de massage en eau thermale depuis 2005, après avoir fait de la natation synchronisée pendant 3 ans durant son adolescence. Manuela a développé le "Contact improvisation dans l'eau", un nouveau langage aquatique né de ses diverses explorations, qu'elle enseigne depuis 2007 en piscine comme en mer. Elle est aussi praticienne en massage californien.
Manuela Blanchard Russi (originally a sociologist/ethnologist from french speaking Switzerland) has taught contact improvisation and new dance for the past 7 years after having trained intensively and performed in dance, physical theatre, clown and synchronised swimming for the past 20 years. Discovering improvised dance touched a very profound core in her, and led her to meet great teachers (such as Steve Paxton, Nancy Stark Smith, Kirstie Simson, Martin Keogh und Andrew Harwood) and to continue to explore the form with others. Manuela is also a water body therapist, certified in WATSU® & Water Dance®, and trained in Healing Dance®. Her love for contact improvisation and aquatic bodywork has brought her to develop "Contact Dance in Water" in 2007, as an integration of her different passions. She is been teaching CI in water, in nature and even on the dance floor ;-) in several contact festivals abroad (Israel water & CI festivals, Moscow, CMC Göttingen, Cadaquès, Grenoble, Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Crete, Tokyo). She is also Esalen Massage practitionner (Californian bodywork).
